The theme of the International Museum Day in 2025 is "The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities", calling on museums worldwide to explore new directions amid waves of digitalization and globalization. On May 18, the Hebei Normal University Museum responded to this proposition with a cross-temporal cultural event. Through three major sections—heritage preservation, youth innovation, and diverse connections—the event offered over 30 immersive experiences, presenting audiences with a feast of culture that upheld tradition while embracing innovation and connecting with the world. The event attracted more than 3,000 onsite participants throughout the day, with online interactions exceeding ten thousand.

This event aimed to explore the integration of tradition and innovation through the three dimensions of "preservation–innovation–connection", offering more dynamic interactive experiences to meet the cultural demands of the new era. With actions that activated traditional culture through youth energy and expanded boundaries using technological intelligence, the Hebei Normal University Museum vividly interpreted the infinite possibilities of "museum futures". It also encouraged more people to visit museums, understand their value, and experience the power of culture.
